Processing of scrap metals is protection of environment in real life!
Processing of metal waste such as iron, aluminum, copper or other metals saves precious primary resources. The amount of energy used for smelting scrap metals is up 60 % lower compared to energy need if primary resources are used (e.g. iron ore). Metal waste is a primary raw material as well as the source of energy.
Our approach
The degree of utilization of secondary raw materials and their proportion on total production is also a measure of industrial, technical and scientific advancement of the country. When considering the economic advantages of recycling, we cannot neglect environmental concerns. Reuse of waste will reduce its volume and subsequently the pollution in the environment. Ecological considerations in decision-making with regard to utilization of production waste is (or should be) a priority. Advantages of recycling are clear, but we must also take into account that it could be demanding with regard to research, development and investments related to new technological solutions. Therefore, when assessing the benefits of recycling, we must bear in mind the principles of operational efficiency, systemic and complex approach. The contribution of our company is in the complex approach to the process of collection and sorting of other waste products and their subsequent recycling at the authorized organization in their processing plant. Strict compliance with the Waste Disposal Act is also very important. The main areas, where the environmental benefits will be demonstrated after the implementation of the project, are protection of nature, water and air.
